Summary

CVE-2023-36402 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting the Microsoft Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) OLE DB provider for SQL Server. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted SQL queries to a target system, potentially gaining unauthorized code execution rights.
