Summary

CVE-2023-36308 is a vulnerability affecting disintegration Imaging 1.6.2. An integer index out-of-range issue arises during the Grayscale call in the scan function of scanner.go, which can trigger a panic. However, it is currently unclear if this panic has any substantial security implications. Attackers may leverage this issue by creating crafted TIFF files to exploit the vulnerability. The security impact of the panic is yet to be determined.
