Summary

CVE-2023-3620 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability discovered in the amauric/tarteaucitron.js GitHub repository. Prior to version 1.13.1, this library failed to properly sanitize user-supplied data, allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages and steal sensitive information from unsuspecting users. This stored XSS flaw posed a serious threat to websites that integrated the affected library. Users of the library are strongly urged to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this vulnerability.
