Summary
CVE-2023-36187 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting NETGEAR R6400v2 devices prior to version 1.0.4.118. This issue permits unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending crafted URLs to the affected httpd server. Successful exploitation could lead to significant security risks, including unauthorized access, data theft, or system takeover.
