Summary

CVE-2023-36183 is a buffer overflow vulnerability affecting OpenImageIO version 2.4.12.0 and earlier. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending a specially crafted file to the readimg function. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information.
