Summary
CVE-2023-36163 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting IP-DOT BuildaGate version BuildaGate5. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting a malicious script into the mc parameter of a URL, allowing them to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected website. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or other malicious activities. Users are advised to update their IP-DOT BuildaGate software to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
