Summary

CVE-2023-3614 is a vulnerability affecting Mattermost, an open-source team collaboration platform. The issue arises due to insufficient validation of gif image files. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by linking to a specially crafted gif file, leading to excessive server resource consumption. This can result in the server becoming unresponsive for an extended period of time.
