Summary
CVE-2023-36123 is a Directory Traversal vulnerability affecting the Hex-Dragon Plain Craft Launcher 2 Alpha 1.3.9. This issue permits local attackers to manipulate file paths, enabling them to execute arbitrary code and obtain sensitive information, posing a significant risk to users. The vulnerability arises due to inadequate input validation in the launcher software, allowing an attacker to bypass security restrictions and access restricted files or execute malicious code.
