Summary

CVE-2023-36006 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Microsoft's Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) OLE DB provider for SQL Server. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted SQL queries to a target system, leading to arbitrary code execution on the victim's side. Successful exploitation may result in significant data loss or unauthorized system access.
