Summary

CVE-2023-35990 is a vulnerability that allows an app to determine which other apps are installed on an Apple device. Previously, there were insufficient checks in place, but this issue has been addressed and resolved in the latest software updates for iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, iOS 16.7, and iPadOS 16.7, as well as macOS Sonoma 14. This could potentially lead to privacy concerns, as unintended disclosure of installed apps could reveal sensitive information about a user's habits or preferences.
