Summary
CVE-2023-35950 is a critical buffer overflow vulnerability affecting libigl v2.4.0. The issue lies within the readOFF.cpp functionality, which is responsible for parsing the header of an OFF file. An attacker can exploit multiple stack-based buffer overflows in this module by providing a specially-crafted .off file. Successful exploitation leads to arbitrary code execution.
