Summary

CVE-2023-3595 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Rockwell Automation's 1756 EN2* and 1756 EN3* ControlLogix communication products. Malicious users can exploit this issue by crafting malicious Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) messages, thereby gaining the ability to execute arbitrary code on the targeted system with persistence. This potentially allows unauthorized data modification, denial of service, and exfiltration.
