Summary
CVE-2023-35844 is a vulnerability affecting the file endpoints in the packages/backend/src/routers component of Lightdash before version 0.510.3. This issue poses a risk as it allows directory traversal and does not ensure that intended file extensions, specifically .csv and .png, are used. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to access unintended files, potentially leading to data leakage or other unintended consequences.
