Summary
CVE-2023-35677 is a newly identified vulnerability that affects the onCreate function in DeviceAdminAdd.java. The issue stems from a missing permission check within this function, allowing an attacker to forcibly add a device admin without proper authorization. Consequences of this vulnerability include local denial of service through factory resets or continuous locking, all without the requirement for additional execution privileges or user interaction.
