Summary

CVE-2023-35357 is a newly disclosed Windows Kernel vulnerability that allows an attacker to gain elevated privileges. By exploiting this EoP (Elevation of Privilege) flaw, an attacker can escalate their user-level access to kernel-level access, potentially leading to serious system compromise. This vulnerability affects various Microsoft Windows operating systems and requires local access for exploitation. Microsoft is currently working on a patch to address this issue and advises users to apply the update as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, users are encouraged to practice good security hygiene, including keeping their systems up-to-date and using strong passwords.
