Summary

CVE-2023-35350 is a critical vulnerability affecting Windows Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS). This issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable systems by sending a specially crafted Certificate Template Request (CTR) to the affected AD CS server. Successful exploitation could lead to complete system compromise, enabling attackers to install malware, steal sensitive information, or carry out other malicious activities. Microsoft recommends applying the available patch as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
