Summary

CVE-2023-35313 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting the Windows Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) Snap-in. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a specially crafted OCSP response to a targeted system, resulting in the execution of arbitrary code on the victim's machine. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to organizations that use the Windows Certificate Services for managing digital certificates, as it can be exploited via the network without requiring any user interaction.
