Summary

CVE-2023-35176 is a newly identified cybersecurity vulnerability affecting certain HP LaserJet Pro print products. This issue permits an attacker to induce a buffer overflow or cause a denial of service condition via the backup & restore feature accessible through the embedded web service on the affected devices. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code or disrupt the printing functionality of the devices. Users are advised to apply the necessary patches or updates from HP to mitigate this risk.
