Summary

CVE-2023-35167 affects Remult, a CRUD framework for full-stack TypeScript. This vulnerability arises when the `apiPrefilter` option of the `@Entity` decorator is set to a function that returns a filter for unauthorized access control. If an attacker knows the ID of an entity instance they are not authorized to access, they can bypass the filter and gain read, update, and delete access. To mitigate this issue, users are advised to set the `apiPrefilter` option to a filter object instead of a function. A patch is available in Remult version 0.20.6.
