Summary

CVE-2023-35160 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the XWiki Platform. This wiki platform, which offers runtime services for applications, allows users to forge URLs containing malicious payloads. By using a specific URL, such as xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/Main xpage=resubmit&resubmit=javascript:alert(document.domain), attackers can inject JavaScript into pages. This issue has been present since XWiki 2.5-milestone-2 and has been resolved in versions 14.10.5 and 15.1-rc-1. Users are advised to upgrade to these secure versions to protect against potential XSS attacks.
