Summary

CVE-2023-35146 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Jenkins Template Workflows Plugin version 41.v32d86a_313b_4a and earlier. This issue arises due to the failure to properly escape names of jobs used as building blocks for Template Workflow Jobs, allowing attackers who can create jobs to inject malicious scripts. Successful exploitation could result in unintended execution of attacker-supplied code in the context of the affected Jenkins instance. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
