Summary

CVE-2023-35144 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the Jenkins Maven Repository Server Plugin version 1.10 and earlier. This issue arises due to the plugin's failure to properly escape project and build display names on the "Build Artifacts As Maven Repository" page. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into a victim's Jenkins instance, leading to potential unauthorized access or data theft when a user visits a specially crafted page. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to update their Jenkins installation and the Maven Repository Server Plugin to the latest available version.
