Summary

CVE-2023-35141 is a vulnerability affecting Jenkins versions 2.399 and earlier, as well as LTS 2.387.3 and earlier. The issue lies in the handling of user-provided values in URLs for POST requests used to load context actions. If these values are not properly escaped, attackers can manipulate victims into sending requests to unintended endpoints by crafting malicious context menu items. This could potentially lead to unauthorized access or data manipulation. Users are advised to update their Jenkins installations to the latest versions to mitigate this risk.
