Summary

CVE-2023-35096 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting myCred plugin versions 2.5 and below. A CSRF attack forces an unwilling user to execute unwanted actions on a web application in their own name. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a malicious request, which, if successful, could lead to unintended actions being performed on the affected site, such as account takeover or data modification. Users are advised to update their myCred plugin to a secure version to mitigate this risk.
