Summary

CVE-2023-35090 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting versions 3.0.7 and below of the StylemixThemes MasterStudy LMS plugin for WordPress, used for creating online courses and education platforms. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into input fields, which are then stored and executed when a user with contributor or higher privileges views the affected page. Successful exploitation could result in arbitrary code execution or session hijacking, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive information or system takeover. Users are strongly advised to update to the latest plugin version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
