Summary

CVE-2023-3508 is a vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce Pre-Orders plugin for WordPress before version 2.0.3. This issue involves a weak Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection mechanism in the plugin's tab actions. Successful exploitation of this flaw could allow attackers to manipulate pre-order information for logged-in administrators. They can change customer emails for pre-orders, alter release dates, mark multiple pre-orders of a specific product as complete, or even cancel orders via CSRF attacks.
