Summary

CVE-2023-3507 is a vulnerability affecting the WooCommerce Pre-Orders plugin for WordPress. Prior to version 2.0.3, this plugin contains a weak Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection in its pre-order cancelation function. An attacker can exploit this flaw to trick a logged-in admin into canceling arbitrary pre-orders through a maliciously crafted link or form submission. This issue poses a significant risk for e-commerce sites using the WooCommerce Pre-Orders plugin, as it can lead to unauthorized pre-order cancellations and potential data loss.
