Summary

CVE-2023-35038 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 1.2.2 and below of the wpexperts.Io WP PDF Generator plugin for WordPress. A CSRF attack allows an unauthenticated attacker to force a logged-in victim to perform unintended actions on the web application, such as making unauthorized changes or transfers. In this case, an attacker could exploit the vulnerability to trick a user into uploading or deleting sensitive files or making unintended changes to PDF documents within the WordPress site. Users are advised to update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this risk.
