Summary
CVE-2023-35012 is a serious stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability affecting IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows versions 11.5 with Federated configurations. This issue arises due to insufficient bounds checking, which allows a local user holding SYSADM privileges to overwrite the buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
