Summary

CVE-2023-34842 is a recently disclosed remote code execution vulnerability affecting DedeCMS versions up to 5.7.109. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a crafted POST request to the /dede/tpl.php endpoint. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the targeted system, potentially leading to significant security risks, including data theft and unauthorized system access. It is highly recommended that affected organizations apply the available patch or upgrade to a newer, secure version of DedeCMS as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
