Summary

CVE-2023-34836 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Microworld Technologies eScan Management console version 14.0.1400.2281. An attacker can exploit this weakness by injecting malicious scripts into the Dtltyp and ListName parameters, resulting in the execution of arbitrary code in the context of the affected user. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to gain unauthorized access, steal sensitive data or perform unintended actions within the application. This vulnerability poses a significant risk and requires immediate remediation through patching or other mitigations.
