Summary

CVE-2023-34796 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the dmarcts-report-viewer dashboard with versions 1.1 and below, as well as commit 8a1d882b4c481a05e296e9b38a7961e912146a0f. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious code into the org_name or domain values, leading to arbitrary code execution. This issue poses a significant risk as it allows attackers to gain control over users' web sessions and potentially steal sensitive information or install malware.
