Summary
CVE-2023-34642 is a vulnerability affecting KioWare for Windows up to version 8.33. The issue involves an incomplete blacklist filter for blocked dialog boxes on Windows 10. This deficiency enables attackers to open a file dialog box using the showDirectoryPicker() function, which in turn allows them to launch an unprivileged command prompt.
