Summary

CVE-2023-34563 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting the Netgear R6250 router with Firmware Version 1.0.4.48. This issue permits an attacker to execute a buffer overflow attack after successfully authenticating, potentially leading to unauthorized access or denial of service. The vulnerability arises due to insufficient bounds checking on user input, which can result in the overflow of a designated buffer. The exploitation of this flaw may allow an attacker to execute malicious code or crash the router, affecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of network services.
