Summary

CVE-2023-34471 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) AMI SPx. The issue resides in the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), allowing a user to bypass cryptographic checks by manipulating Hash-based Message Authentication Codes (HMAC). This vulnerability can result in the loss of confidentiality, integrity, and authentication if successfully exploited.
