CVE-2023-34357 is a vulnerability affecting Soar Cloud Ltd.'s HR Portal. The issue involves a weak password recovery mechanism for forgotten passwords. Upon receiving a password reset link via email, users may inadvertently leave the link in their browser history. An attacker who gains access to this link can manipulate it to change the password, even after the expected expiration date, resulting in unauthorized account takeover.
