Summary

CVE-2023-34356 is a critical vulnerability affecting the data.cgi xfer_dns functionality in peplink Surf SOHO HW1 v6.3.5, when run in QEMU. This OS command injection issue allows an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands by crafting a specific HTTP request.
