Summary

CVE-2023-34143 is a vulnerability affecting Hitachi Device Manager on both Windows and Linux platforms (Device Manager Server, Device Manager Agent, Host Data Collector components). The issue involves improper validation of certificates, leading to a Host Mismatch condition. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability for Man-in-the-Middle attacks, taking advantage of the affected Hitachi Device Manager versions before 8.8.5-02.
