Summary

CVE-2023-34141 is a command injection vulnerability affecting multiple Zyxel products, including the ATP, USG FLEX, USG FLEX 50(W), USG20(W)-VPN, VPN, NXC2500, and NXC5500 series. The issue lies in the AP management feature of the specified firmware versions. An unauthenticated, LAN-based attacker can manipulate an administrator into adding their IP address to the managed AP list, enabling them to execute certain operating system commands on the vulnerable device. This could potentially lead to serious security consequences if exploited successfully.
