Summary

CVE-2023-34139 is a command injection vulnerability affecting the Free Time WiFi hotspot feature of Zyxel USG FLEX series firmware versions 4.50 to 5.36 Patch 2, and VPN series firmware versions 4.20 to 5.36 Patch 2. An unauthenticated attacker with access to the LAN network can exploit this weakness to execute certain operating system commands on the vulnerable device. This issue poses a significant risk, as it allows attackers to potentially gain control over the device and its connected systems. Users are advised to update their firmware as soon as possible to mitigate this threat.
