Summary

CVE-2023-33921: A serious vulnerability has been discovered in CP-8031 MASTER MODULE and CP-8050 MASTER MODULE (versions prior to CPCI85 V05). These devices contain an exposed UART console login interface, allowing an attacker with direct physical access to attempt brute-force or password cracking attacks to gain unauthorized root access. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to system security and requires immediate attention for patching or mitigation.
