Summary

CVE-2023-3369 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability affecting the About Me 3000 widget plugin for WordPress. This issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings, which allows authenticated attackers, with administrator-level permissions or above, to inject malicious scripts into pages. The vulnerability poses a threat only to multi-site installations and installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled. Successful exploitation enables attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts whenever a user accesses an injected page.
