Summary

CVE-2023-33404 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting BlogEngine.Net version 3.3.8.0 and earlier. This issue, referred to as an Unrestricted Upload vulnerability, allows remote attackers to bypass validation checks in the UploadControlled.cs file. As a result, they can upload and execute arbitrary code on the targeted system, potentially leading to serious security breaches. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to websites using the affected version of BlogEngine.Net, making it imperative that users update their instances as soon as possible.
