Summary

CVE-2023-33116 is a transient Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting the WIN WLAN driver. The issue lies in the function "ieee80211_parse_mscs_ie" where an improper input handling mechanism can lead to memory exhaustion. An attacker can exploit this flaw by crafting malicious packets to cause the driver to enter a state of continued memory allocation, leading to a DoS condition.
