Summary

CVE-2023-33027 denotes a Transient Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting WLAN firmware. The issue arises during the parsing of RSN (Robust Security Network) IEs (Information Elements). A maliciously crafted RSN IE can cause the WLAN firmware to experience a DoS condition, resulting in temporary disruptions in wireless network services. This vulnerability could potentially be exploited to cause network congestion and degrade network performance.
