Summary

CVE-2023-32974 is a newly discovered path traversal vulnerability that affects various QNAP operating system versions. This issue could enable unauthorized users to access and read files outside the intended directory, potentially exposing sensitive data over a network. The vulnerability has been addressed in the following QNAP software updates: QTS 5.1.0.2444 and later, QuTS hero h5.1.0.2424 and later, and QuTScloud c5.1.0.2498 and later. System administrators are strongly encouraged to install these patches to mitigate the risk of exploitation.
