Summary

CVE-2023-32973 is a buffer copy vulnerability that affects several QNAP operating system versions. This issue allows authenticated administrators to execute code via a network by exploiting a buffer without proper input size checking. Thissecurity flaw could potentially lead to serious consequences. QNAP has released patches for this vulnerability in several versions, including QTS 5.0.1.2425 and later, QTS 5.1.0.2444 and later, QTS 4.5.4.2467 and later, QuTS hero h5.0.1.2515 and later, QuTS hero h5.1.0.2424 and later, QuTS hero h4.5.4.2476 and later, and QuTScloud c5.1.0.2498 and later. It is highly recommended that users update their systems to the latest versions to mitigate this risk.
