Summary
CVE-2023-3297 is a vulnerability affecting Ubuntu's accountsservice. An unprivileged local attacker can exploit this use-after-free issue by sending a D-Bus message to the accounts-daemon process. Successful exploitation could result in the accounts-daemon process crashing or allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the accounts-daemon user.
