Summary

CVE-2023-3249 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Web3 – Crypto wallet Login & NFT token gating plugin for WordPress. This issue, existing in versions up to 2.6.0, allows authenticated attackers to bypass authentication checks through the 'hidden_form_data' function. Consequently, attackers can log in as any user on the site, including administrators, if they have access to the targeted username. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access and potential data breaches. Users are strongly advised to update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
