Summary

CVE-2023-32479 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting Dell Encryption, Dell Endpoint Security Suite Enterprise, and Dell Security Management Server. Versions prior to 11.9.0 are susceptible due to inadequate Access Control Lists (ACLs) on non-default installation directories. A local attacker can exploit this by replacing binaries in the affected directories and gaining reverse shell access, resulting in significant privilege escalation.
